MEMBERSHIP GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT

*Increase membership by 25%

*Retain 90% of membership from previous year

*Encourage participation in State and National Conventions

*Create active and engaged committees

LEGISLATIVE INVOLVEMENT

*Plan region legislative programs and activities

*Establish a "grassroots" political action network and regional

PAC

*Encourage members to make political contributions to PAC

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY/STABILITY

*Prepare budget and designate funds and expenditures

to implement goals

*Complete Annual State Audit Report Form

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

*Develop group projects to create visibility in the communi- ties

*Seek to achieve at least 50% of membership reporting

volunteer hours

*Report a minimum of 25% of all hours in educational

activities

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

*Establish regular, meaningful, and effective communications with members

*Establish rapport with superintendents and Boards of Education in region

*Attend and support local NCAE Region meetings

*Encourage locals to publish newsletters and use NCRSP logos

*Establish frequency of circulating Region Newsletter

*Create a Region Website
